I have the same complaint, same UPC#..They taste like insectiside of something. Windows vista password reset disk. I ate about 10 of them in my chili last night, woke up in a sweat, turned on AC and went back to bed..Today my children all complained about them, and I tasted seperately from any other food..They Smell and taste horrible, also burn my throat some..just drank milk to dilute and rinse..????

But as long as it doesn't smell bad (the oils in the cookie may go off over a long period of time), and it doesn't crumble apart in your hand, then it's okay to eat more of those snacks. Eating foods with expired shelf lives is definitely not recommended, since it can be an indication that food will go bad after a certain time. Confusion about shelf life can be attributed to the recent label on many foods in grocery stores that recommend a food is “best by” a certain date.
